Common Reasons SSL Fails
SSL may fail if:
- Domain is not pointed to the correct server.
- DNS propagation is not complete.
- Domain is using incorrect Cloudflare records.
- Domain was recently added to cPanel.
- AutoSSL validation failed temporarily.
- The domain has no valid A record.
- The www record is missing or incorrect.
If Using Cloudflare
If you use Cloudflare, check:
- A record points to the correct server IP.
- SSL mode is configured correctly.
- DNS records are not pointing to an old host.
- The domain is active in Cloudflare.
Important
SSL installation may not work immediately after changing DNS. Wait for DNS propagation and try again.
