How to Install MT4 or MT5 on Forex VPS

  2. Open a web browser inside the VPS.
  3. Go to your broker’s official website.

  1. Run the installer.
  2. Follow the installation wizard.
  3. Open MetaTrader after installation.
  4. Log in using your trading account details from your broker.
  5. Select the correct trading server.
  6. Wait for account data and charts to load.
  7. Install your Expert Advisor, indicators, or scripts if required.
  8. Confirm AutoTrading or Algo Trading is enabled if your strategy requires it.

How to Install an Expert Advisor

  1. Open MetaTrader.
  2. Click File.
  3. Click Open Data Folder.
  4. Open MQL4 or MQL5.
  5. Open Experts.
  6. Upload or copy your EA file.
  7. Restart MetaTrader.
  8. Attach the EA to the correct chart.
  9. Enable AutoTrading or Algo Trading.

How to Keep MT4 or MT5 Running

  2. Keep MetaTrader open.
  3. Do not close the trading platform.
  4. Disconnect from RDP instead of shutting down Windows.

Close the RDP window or choose Disconnect.
