How to Upgrade or Downgrade a Hosting Plan
Quick Summary
You can upgrade or downgrade eligible services from the CybroHost Client Area if the option is available for your hosting plan.
When to Upgrade
Upgrade when:
- Website needs more resources
- Storage is full
- Traffic increased
- More RAM or CPU is needed
- You need better performance
- You need additional features
When to Downgrade
Downgrade when:
- You no longer need current resources
- Website traffic decreased
- You want a smaller plan
- You are reducing costs
Steps to Upgrade or Downgrade
- Log in to the Client Area:
https://bill.cybrohost.com/clientarea.php
- Go to Services.
- Click My Services.
- Select the service.
- Click Upgrade/Downgrade if available.
- Choose the new plan.
- Review the price difference.
- Continue to checkout.
- Pay the invoice if generated.
Important Notes
- Upgrades may be prorated.
- Downgrades may not be available for all services.
- VPS downgrades may require rebuild or migration.
- Dedicated server upgrades may depend on hardware availability.
- Always create backups before major changes.
