How to Create Email Accounts in cPanel

Before You Start
Make sure:
- Your hosting service is active.
- Your domain is added to cPanel.
- Your domain DNS points to the correct server.
- Your plan includes email account support.
Steps to Create an Email Account
- Log in to cPanel.
- Go to the Email section.
- Click Email Accounts.
- Click Create.
- Select the domain name.
- Enter the email username.

- Set mailbox storage space if required.

How to Access Webmail
You can access webmail using:
https://yourdomain.com/webmail
or from cPanel:
- Go to Email Accounts.
- Find the email account.
- Click Check Email.

IMAP or POP3?
Use IMAP if you want emails synced across multiple devices.
Use POP3 if you want emails downloaded to one device.

If Email Is Not Working
Check:
- Domain DNS is correct.
- MX records are correct.
- Email account password is correct.
- Mailbox is not full.
- Email client settings are correct.
- Firewall or network is not blocking email ports.
- SSL is enabled for mail services.
Important
If you use external DNS such as Cloudflare, you must make sure your MX and mail records are configured correctly there.
